The Away Test · Email
How I stopped answering emails at night
Half fixed
Emails used to wait until I got home. A customer writes at 9am, I read it on a job, and I reply at 10pm if I remember. Some I didn't remember.
Now every message, email, text and the rest, lands in one inbox. It gets sorted and a reply gets drafted for me. I read it, change what needs changing, and approve it. The writing isn't mine anymore, just the yes.
Where it's at: half fixed. It's faster and nothing gets lost. But it still waits for my tap, so the day I'm away is still the day it slows down.
