How I stopped losing calls when I'm on the tools

Fixed

I'd be in a roof cavity with gloves on and the phone would ring. By the time I climbed down, they'd rung the next pest guy on Google. That's a job gone, and I never even knew it happened.

So now nobody needs to pick up. If a call isn't answered, the caller gets a text back within minutes saying we got their call and we'll ring them. Every call gets recorded and summarised, and at 6pm I get one list: who rang, what they wanted, and who still needs a call back.

Where it's at: fixed. The phone doesn't depend on me anymore. What still depends on me is ringing people back, and that's the next fix down the list.
